Overview
Stryde is designed to keep your data private. Most of your content stays on your device unless you choose to sync or share it.
Information We Collect
- Account data: Email address and authentication metadata from Firebase Auth.
- Local app data: Tasks, notes, routines, preferences, and focus stats saved in your browser.
- Optional sync data: If cloud sync is enabled, we store app data needed for cross-device access.
- Feedback: Messages you submit through the in-app feedback form.
Google Calendar Access
If you connect Google Calendar, we request read-only access to display events inside Stryde. We do not modify your calendar and do not store OAuth tokens on our servers.
How We Use Information
- To provide core app functionality (tasks, focus, analytics).
- To sync data across devices when you enable cloud sync.
- To respond to feedback and improve product quality.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Sharing
We only share data with service providers necessary to operate Stryde (e.g., Firebase, Supabase, Cloudflare, Google APIs). We do not sell or rent personal data.
Security
We use HTTPS and standard security practices. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Your Choices
- Clear local data via your browser to remove stored content.
- Revoke Google Calendar access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Request deletion of synced data through the in-app feedback form.
